Parent Pledge

Every year we sit together as a team and prepare for the forthcoming year. This will include celebrations, charity events, parents evening, parent fun nights, food tasting and religious celebrations.

We pledge to our parents whether their input is needed in the events or not that this is the minimum that we are doing throughout the year. Dates for diaries for parent input are given well in advance so that morning or afternoon off can be booked or a costume made.

We have found this very valuable to our busy parents as warning of such events is key to harmonious family life.

The Story Behind Honeybees

Originally a garden centre called Cottage Garden which operated for about 7 years and then in 2014 a hugely overgrown piece of land was turned into a beautiful Nursery School.

The nursery was lovingly built by local tradesman and named by a local Bee Farmer and in 2015 opened its doors to local children. The nursery quickly filled up with babies and children alike because of its unique and beautiful outside area and rustic inside space.

In 2018 the Nursery added Forest School status to it already unique service and that has complimented the setting further.

Me and Honeybees

In 2019, after years of looking for a setting to complement our existing setting we stumbled across Honeybees. And to our delight it was for sale. This beautiful quirky nursery was everything we had been looking for, it had the outside space and the room for children to learn and explore in a very natural environment. It was everything that inspired me into childcare.

We as a family had already decided that we were going to move nearer to family and so in 2020 we took over Honeybee’s and this will be a journey like no other.

We look forward to welcoming old and new families and know we will build some lifetime relationships with children and parents alike.
